Mohanad Ahmad Shini

Dr. Shini serves as head of the software engineering track and academic coordinator at the Academic Arab College for Education in Israel – Haifa, where he also leads the center for educational software development and works as a pedagogical instructor. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a teaching certificate in Mathematics from Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His academic experience includes serving as lecturer and teaching assistant in Hebrew University’s Computer Science Department, with part of his doctoral research conducted at UC Berkeley under Prof. Boris Rubinsky, focusing on medical imaging techniques for prostate cancer detection. Dr. Shini has completed additional courses in cybersecurity and data science to stay current with emerging technologies. His current research centers on integrating artificial intelligence tools across various domains, particularly in education and teaching. He has extensive teaching experience in computer science and software engineering at multiple higher education institutions.
