General Information

1. When and where will the ATENEL conference take place?

             The ATENEL conference will be held at the Academic Arab College for    

              Education in Haifa, Sunday, October 26^th, through Tuesday, October 28^th.

1. What time zone is the conference?

The conference will be held according to the Israeli Standard Time: GMT/UTC+ 02:00 hours.

1. Where can I view the program?

Registration

1. Who has to register for the conference?

All self-funded participants are required to register.

1. When is the deadline for presenting authors to register?

Presenting authors who are required to register must do so for the ATENEL conference no later than September 15th, 2025.

1. What is the registration deadline for attendees participating in the conference?

Registration for attendees will remain open through the duration of the conference.

1. Who do I contact for help with registration?

To obtain help with registration or payment issues please contact atenel2025@gmail.com immediately. Response will be provided within few hours.

1. What are the registration fees?

Registration fees for attendees and presenting authors are 150$.

1. How do I get an official certificate of participation for the conference?

             All conference participants will receive an official certificate of participation via    

             email.

Accommodation and Travel

1. What hotels are suggested for accommodation?

              Hotel recommendations will be updated soon. Please check the accommodation     

              page on the conference website for updates

1. How do I get to Haifa from Ben Gurion Airport?

Ben-Gurion Airport is approximately a 70-miute drive (by car/ taxi) from Haifa. It is about 115 Km far.

Trains are available for transportation from and to the airport. Direct trains from Ben Gurion to Haifa leave from platform 2.

If it says:Haifa Mercaz-HaShmona, Haifa-Bat Galim, Haifa-Hof HaKarmel (Razi`el), Ako, Karmiel, Nahariya, or Kiryat Hayim then the train arrives to Haifa city. Train tickets to Haifa cost about 34.5 NIS (~11$)

1. Will the college provide transportation from and to the college during conference days?

The college will provide a shuttle to transport participants from the hotel to the college and vice versa.

1. How do I get to the college conference site if I miss the shuttle?

You can get to the Arab Academic College for Education by public transportation, taxis or busses. The college’s address is 2 Yagur St. Haifa.

Submission Notifications, Program Changes, and Paper Uploads

1. What is the final deadline for submitting abstracts?

The deadline to upload abstracts is August 10^th, 2025. All abstracts are to be uploaded through the conference site.

1. When will I get a notification of acceptance?

Notifications of acceptance will be sent until 10^th September 2025.

1. How do I make changes to my paper/ session?

Program updates are to be sent to atenel2025@gmail.com. The deadline for all program updates is September 15^th, 2025.

1. What is the format of oral sessions?

The sessions will take place in-person.

1. What is the duration of oral presentation?

The duration of oral presentations is 20 minutes, including the time for Q&A
